This release highly improves 2D plotting:
  • Improved curves tab in the preferences dialog: now every aspect of a curve can be predefined by the user.
  • Added support for transparency in filled curves.
  • Implemented the possibility to customize the default list of curve colors and symbols.
  • Added the possibility to link the X axes of all layers in a plot window.
  • Implemented the possibility to hide first/last ticks and labels of a plot axis.
  • Improved autoscaling when using log scales.
  • Added the possibility to define a custom grid of plot layers from selected table columns.
  • Improved automatic arrange layers method.
  • Fixed exporting of legend symbols.
Improved the import of ASCII files:
  • When importing a file, the name of the import window is now set to the base name of the file.
  • The size of the import ASCII dialog is saved to the user global settings.
  • Implemented the possibility to edit the file type filter in the import dialog.
General improvements:
  • Improved Windows menu.
  • Improved the layout of the explorer dock window.
  • Implemented the possibility to set the numeric format and precision for the 3D plot axes.
Bug fixes:
  • Fixed crash with selected line/arrow.
  • Fixed behavior of "Quit" action and of the data reader tool arrow keys on Mac OS X.
  • Fixed crashes in 3D plots from empty matrices/table columns.
